As a Registered Nurse in good standing with the CNO, I worked as a bedside nurse in the Emergency Department for the first 12 years of my career.

In August 2019, I transitioned from bedside nursing into the role of Nurse Technologist at Ontario Tech University. Now, working within the Faculty of Health Sciences, I help to facilitate BScN clinical simulation experience.

Clinical simulation was a foreign concept to me as I began my new role, but has since sparked a passion, an area I am interested in developing professionally. In May 2020, I was accepted into the inaugural semester of the MScN program at Ontario Tech University. Throughout the next four years I plan to complete a project, focusing on simulation integration into the current BScN program.
